Owl City has announced that May 24th will be the release date of his 3rd full-length, All Things Bright And Beautiful.

Four Year Strong hit the studio to record the new album

In a recent interview with UK webzine, Punktastic, FOUR YEAR STRONG announced that they're entering the studio to record their new full-length with producer David Bendith (Paramore, All Time Low) this week. The writing process was completed before the group's outing to the UK for the Kerrang! Tour and now they're ready to lay down the tracks.

A Skylit Drive's "Identity on Fire" sold 7,270 units!

A Skylit Drive's newest release Identity on Fire landed at #89 on Billboard's Top 200 with 7,270 albums sold in week one. 2009’s Adelphia, ranked higher at #64.

Paramore will enter the studio with producer Rob Cavallo for a summer EP release

Paramore will release a new EP this summer before a full-length album is released later. The record will feature the acoustic track, "In The Mourning" which premiered on their website earlier this month. The new material will be recorded with Rob Cavallo, who worked on 2009's Brand New Eyes.

We Came As Romans are back in the studio working on their upcoming release

We Came As Romans are fresh off the touring road and held up in the studio with Joey Sturgis, recording their newest offering. Here's a brief update from guitarist, Joshua Moore.

After the tour (Rock Yourself To Sleep Tour) ended on February 11th, we went home for a few days and entered the studio on the 16th. We came right back to Foundation Recording Studio to record our second full length with Joey Sturgis (again). During the first week of being here we really focused on taking the songs and sculpting them to how we wanted the album to sound as a whole, not just how we wanted each particular song to sound. With how much we were on the road the past six months (two headliners, Europe, and Australia), it's been so hard to really focus on details like that because I very rarely write on the road. When we were at home, we spent as much time as possible with our family and friends, as well as some time to just wind down. It was much needed time spent here in the studio, really focusing on our music as a complete album. We started on drums yesterday and to ensure that this stays an "update" rather than a novel, I’ll leave you guys with that!

Asking Alexandria frontman Danny Worsnop releases statement regarding his struggle with narcotics + last night's show.

British metalcore outfit, Asking Alexandria, kicked off their U.S. headliner "Reckless & Relentless" earlier this month, in support of their sophomore album of the same name, due out April 5th. Frontman Danny Worsnop released a statement this morning via his Twitter (@DannyAfuckingA) apologizing to fans in Seattle for his drunkard behavior and admitting his struggle with alcoholism and drug abuse:
I'm sorry Seattle! I'll be making a video tomorrow apologizing! Tonight wasn't right, I'll be back making it up to you. I'm a fucking idiot. I should never blame my actions on my relapses but tonight made me realize I have a problem. I for the first time in my life want to fix myself. I now know what regret is! I apologize from the bottom of my heart. I've relied on drugs and drink to feel alive, I can't do that anymore, tonight was evidence its not me. I can't do it anymore. I love you all and I'm so sorry. I've let you all down. Hopefully I grow to have some sort of compassion to myself, I live for self destruction and that's wrong. Nothing changes when you're killing yourself with poison. I love you all. And I hope you can forgive me. I officially am quitting drugs and getting drunk here and now. I want to clean up and sort my fuxking life out. I'll never stop hating myself until I stop killing myself. Thank you all for standing by me. If any R&R shows get cancelled I'm away fixing myself. I hope you understand.

In addition to Danny's statement, the band did comment via their Facebook:

We are so sorry Seattle. We will make this right. Once Danny wakes up from his nightmare that was tonight, he will face the music. Thank you to everyone who stayed with us through all of it and joined us on stage to keep the spirit alive. Forgive us Seattle. We will make this right. We are NOT breaking up and we are all still 5 united brothers in this together. Tomorrow Danny will speak for himself to all of you about what happened tonight in Seattle. We love you guys, you are the best fans in the world!

Asking Alexandria "Reckless And Relentless"

Pada tanggal 22 Desember 2009,Asking Alexandria mengumumkan bahwa mereka mulai bekerja di album kedua di bulan Januari. Mereka diberitahu bahwa mereka akanstreaming bagian dari proses penulisan melalui feed webcam melalui Stickam layanan.Hal ini juga mengumumkan bahwa mereka akan masuk studio pada tanggal 1 September lagi dengan produser Joey Sturgis. Lalu mereka kemudian mengumumkanbahwa mereka akan bisa masuk ke studio 22 Jun 2010 di twitter resmi mereka. Band ini kemudian dikonfirmasi melalui wawancara dengan shred News bahwa album dijadwalkan untuk rilis pada awal 2011 dan direncanakan berisi 12 lagu baru.  Dalam wawancara yang sama, band ini menginformasikan bahwa judul belum berdiri. Dalamsebuah wawancara kemudian mereka menyatakan bahwa album ini mungkin akandapat pre order pada bulan November 2010, dan tersedia pada awal tahun 2011. Satulagu, "Breathless"telah bermain hidup sudah dan dapat ditemukan di youtube. Dannyjuga telah merilis lirik dari album baru ke account Twitter-nya, meskipun ia tidakmenyatakan apa lagu-lagu mereka dari.

BlessTheFall "Witness"

Selama bulan Februari, band ini mengumumkan pada halaman MySpace mereka bahwa mereka akan menuju ke studio pada bulan Mei 2009 setelah tur mereka dengan Silverstein, Norma Jean, danBefore Their Eyes. Pada tanggal 13 Mei band ini mengumumkan pada halaman MySpace dan blog video bahwa mereka telah menandatangani kontrak dengan Fearless Records.

Pada tanggal 3 Juni, band ini mengumumkan melalui MySpace bahwa mereka resmi selesai dengan rekaman album baru mereka dan akan dirilis pada musim gugur. Pada awal tur mereka denganAugust Burns Red and Enter Shikari, mereka mengumumkan bahwa albumnya akan berjudul "Witness". Pada bulan Juli, Blessthefall merilis video klip di blog MySpace mereka yang berjudul "God Wears Gucci", dirilis pada iTunes untuk di download pada tanggal 11 Agustus 2009. Pada bulan September 2009, band ini upload lagu lain pada halaman MySpace mereka berjudul "What's Left of Me". Album ini dirilis Oktober 6 Desember 2009.

Pada tanggal 26 Januari 2010, Greeley Estates merilis No Rain, No Rainbow, menampilkan vokal tamu dari vokalis Blessthefall Beau Bokan dan Jared Warth. Album ini juga menampilkan vokal tamu dari mantan vokalis Blessthefall yang kini menjadi vokalis Escape the Fate, Craig Mabbitt.

Band ini berkolaborasi dengan album Punk Goes Classic Rock, dirilis April 27, 2010 meliputi "Dream On" dari Aerosmith.

Lagu mereka, "To Hell and Back", dirilis pada Witness, merupakan soundtrack untuk Ubisoft, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction. Trailer game ini dirilis pada tanggal 9 April 2010.

Mereka merilis video musik baru untuk lagu mereka "To Hell and Back" pada tanggal 21 Juli 2010 dan kemudian dalam proses merekam video musik baru untuk "Hey Baby, Here's That Song You Wanted", yang dikonfirmasi melalui Twitter mereka. Mereka mengadakan kontes untuk melihat siapa yang dapat membuat video terbaik buatan penggemar untuk dimasukkan dalam video musik bagian akhir.

Beau Bokan mengkonfirmasi melalui Formspring bahwa Blessthefall tidak akan bermain Warped Tour 2011, melainkan akan merekam album ketiga mereka, mulai rekaman Mei 2011. Ia juga mengatakan produser untuk rekaman ketiga adalah Michael "Elvis" Baskette lagi, yang juga memproduseri rekaman mereka sebelumnya.

Panic At The Disco "Vices And Virtues"

Panic! at the Disco adalah duo rock Amerika, terbentuk di Las Vegas, Nevada pada tahun 2004. Sejak awal, garis band-up sudah termasuk Brendon Urie (vokal, gitar,piano), dan Spencer Smith (drum). Asli dan mantan anggota Ryan Ross (gitar) dan JonWalker (bass) meninggalkan grup pada tahun 2009. Band ini telah digambarkan olehpara kritikus sebagai berbagai genre, paling sering punk pop, rock alternatif, dan Baroque pop. 
PATD memasuki studio selama awal 2010 dan menghabiskan sebagian besar tahun merekam album studio ketiga mereka.  Pada tanggal 18 Januari 2011, bandini mengungkapkan bahwa album baru mereka, Vices & Virtues, secara resmi akan dirilis pada 22 Maret , 2011. Album ini diproduksi oleh Butch Walker dan John Feldmann  Rekor ini. pertama tunggal, "The Ballad of Mona Lisa", dirilis secara digital pada tanggal 1 Februari 2011, dengan video musik yang dirilis pada Februari 8 Desember 2011. Kejahatan & Kebaikan secara resmi dirilis 22 Maret 2011 untuktinjauan kritis relatif positif.
Band ini memulai tur untuk mendukung album, dibaptis Tour Vices & Virtues, padaawalnya sungguh-sungguh pada Februari 2011.  Tur telah didukung listrik yang sama,sandiwara over-the-top band dikenal karena selama era Demam . "Saya benar-benar rindu mengenakan kostum dan make-up," kata Urie Spin. "Saya suka melempar produksi yang besar aku baru saja membaca tentang kumparan Tesla dan. aku mencoba untuk mencari tahu bagaimana saya bisa mendapatkan satu yang duduk di atas panggung dan tunas bunga api tanpa menyakiti siapa pun."
